I am so proud of my big little boy. Diapers are a thing of the past. Yeah!!!!

The newest addition to the family!

I know it has been forever since I updated my blog, but life has been crazy busy. So here are a few pictures of our newest family member.

I guess The Allen Trio name isn't going to work anymore!

That's right the trio is going to become four (I am not sure I love Quartet, so I am going to have to think about it). I am still in my first trimester and worshipping the porcelain toilet (got to love the first few months). I am hoping it will be over after that. We are very excited that Dayton is going to be a big brother. I am just nervous about how you love them both and how you make the oldest one know how important and loved he is. I know I am going to have to make as much time for the two of us before the blessed day arrives. I think it will be hard on him since he has been my entire world for more than two years. I just hope it will be a smooth transition. Well, I think that is enough blogging for the day. I am sure no one will even read this considering I don't blog very often. Oh well! I hope all is well for everyone.

So the other day I was busy getting dinner ready and Dayton was in the kitchen with me. I kept hearing him playing with extra dressing, mayo, and mustard bottles we have on our pantry shelf. Anyway, he kept saying nigh night, and I kept telling him that he couldn't go to bed until after dinner. So finally I turn around, and he had put his favorite blankie on the dressing, mayo, and mustard bottles, and put them nigh night. I didn't get a picture (I know shoot me), but the next day this happened and I did get a picture. He was putting all of his stuffed animals nigh night and climbed in with them. Too cute!

Where is the sun?

On the last day of March, it snowed (got to love Utah). Anyway, Dayton put on his hat and glasses and was ready for the sun. Where is it? He doesn't quite understand that one day we can be outside playing and the next day it snows so we can't. What's a mom to do? So we had to play inside instead.

I am so ready for warm weather!

Bring on the sun. I am so ready for spring and summer. Dayton and I are going stir crazy. I am ready to see green grass, bright flowers, and that beautiful sunshine. To take walks, play in the park, and not wear a coat. Hopefully soon! I think it is five weeks until spring, although the groundhog did see his shadow. Well, I know it will eventually come, and then I will be complaining about how hot it is.

I guess it was time for me too!

Well, Since my husband has his own blog I guess that means I should start a family one. I'm just getting started so who knows how this will turn out. I haven't had to use my computer skills for a while. I have been looking at other blogs and they look awesome. It will probably take me a little while to figure it all out. So be patient.
